Who we are
Named where it matters. Specialists where it must.
We have two offices and a bench of qualified accountants, tax specialists and an ex-HMRC inspector, with audit through our registered partner firm. That is why the menu is wider than a typical high-street firm: accounts and tax, plus valuations, exits, shareholder work and restorations.
The point is not a rotating queue. Every file has a named accountant, same person, same number, same context, and specialists behind them when the question is bigger than a return.

- Ex-HMRC inspector on the bench. When a return, enquiry or relief claim needs someone who has sat on HMRC’s side of the table, it does not go into a ticket queue.
- Audit, via our partner firm Registered partner
- Statutory audits and SRA reports. Countplus is not a registered audit firm. Statutory audits and SRA accountant’s reports are carried out and signed by our registered partner firm; we prepare the accounts and the file they need.
- Payroll & books AAT
- AAT-qualified operations. Payslips on time, RTI filed, VAT on the calendar, books that match the bank. The unglamorous work that keeps HMRC quiet.
- Advisory ACA
- Valuations, exits, shareholders. When the question is bigger than a tax return (selling, splitting equity, valuing the company) you sit with people who have done the deal before.
